Update for anyone who might be following this: I have hired a day long maid from the Helper4U database, less than 24 hours after I registered; which is a record, of sorts. I am doubly pleased because my maid was willing to give me the reference of her previous employer, who recommended her highly.

In fact, I am considering getting a 2nd maid for half the day, too. Thanks Minakshi. For the other ladies – if you are based in Powai, this is definitely the most efficient recruitment process I have encountered so far, and it is nothing like Nanojobs yet, unlike my initial impression.
